Our condition grading
Every bag is inspected by hand, area by area, before it goes online. The grade shown on the product page sums up that inspection. Notable flaws are described in the listing and shown in the photos.

-
SA
Like new

-

Carefully worn. A few tiny marks, visible only up close. Shape, corners and handles almost intact.
-
AB
Very good condition
Light signs of use visible to the naked eye: light patina on the handles, small scratches on the hardware, very slightly marked corners. No notable flaws.
-
B
Good condition
Visible, honest wear: marked patina, worn corners, a few marks or small stains. No structural flaws; the piece is ready for everyday wear.
-
C
Fair condition
Pronounced wear: stains, heavily rubbed corners, cracks or repairs. Every flaw is disclosed and photographed. A piece for lovers of authentic vintage.

A vintage bag has lived a life. An even patina on natural leather is part of its character: we describe it, without treating it as a flaw.
The grade describes the cosmetic condition of the piece. It says nothing about its authenticity, which is verified separately for every bag.
Any notable flaw is mentioned in the description and visible in the listing photos.
Every piece is authenticated before it is offered for sale.
When in doubt between two grades, we always choose the lower one.
